This was a random project I made that was originally supposed to be a plate but I pulled the sides up too much and it ended up being a small bowl. I intend to put my rings and bracelets in this as a jewelry holder. I really like the green glaze on this project.
This is a mug I made as a choice project. I really like the shape of the handle but I do not love the glazing. The inside glazing ran a lot which I like but the outside glaze does not go well with the inside in my opinion. I used slipping and scoring to attach the handle
This is my wheel altered. I glazed the edge of it to make the shape pop out and contrast with the middle. I did this by pushing in on the sides after I strung the project. I do not love the way this project turned out, I wish it had been taller, but I do like the glazing.
This is my final project I made in ceramics. I made a bowl and attached a handle to each side by slipping and scoring. I glazed this project by dipping it in many different glazes, creating contrast. The lip of this is a circle, but has an indent, making it pop out more. I thought this would be a good soup bowl.
This is one of my choice projects. I made it for my mom for her birthday because she really likes purple and flowers. This is a bowl and I used glazed to emphasize the shape of the edges and the middle.
This is my double wall project. It started out facing the other direction, this picture is currently upside down. When I made the double wall, I intended it to be for my dog, but my dog got larger so I made it for my cat and flipped it over. The paw prints on the side really add a good design pattern element and the glazing on the inside gives it a good color art element. I like the way this turned out and so does my cat.
